Flower of the Town is a rare traditional Yorkshire dessert apple variety, first described in 1831. It has also been called 'Flowery Town'. Flower of the Town apples are very attractive - bright and red flushed - and taste sweet and fragrant but with a hint of sharpness. Strong vigour.
